Grilled Steak with Honey Mustard Carrots

Time: 20 minutes + 30 minutes for steak to prep
Servings: 2 


INGREDIENTS:

2 top sirloin steaks (or your preference)
2 tsp sea salt
2 tsp cracked pepper
1 lb carrots (sliced)
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tsp olive oil


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Pull out steaks 30 minutes before grilling and season with salt & pepper on both sides. 
  2. Peel and slice carrots. In a small bowl, mix together glaze for carrots - ½ tsp pepper, ½ tsp salt, honey, dijon mustard, and olive oil.
  3. Start your grill.
  4. Place carrots and glaze into a pan over medium-high heat. Toss to coat evenly. 
  5. Once the grill is warm, place on steaks and cook until your desired doneness. 
  6. Cover your carrots on the stove and cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
  7. Once carrots are softened and cooked through, serve alongside steak and any other sides of your liking!
