Ayooo everyone! It was a really good week of eating in the Novak household. As for the week prior, not so much. Whenever you see me skip a week, it's probably because I didn't cook a single thing the entire week. I think Josh and I ate out 4 out of the 5 weekdays, ha. But for this last week, we were eating good, and I cooked every night. I completely understand cooking 5 days a week is unrealistic for most people - and most weeks it's unrealistic for me too. But dang, is my body happier when I fill it full of healthy homemade food. Cooking is also deeply therapeutic for me. Working in mental health, it's been huge for me to find the things in my life that slow down my brain and help me relax, and cooking has become a major piece of that! Thanks for sticking around and continuing to try my meals :) Have a great last few days of July!
